About Whesuli

Whesuli is a mobile application — a context-aware helper for users of public transport in the greater Helsinki region.

Features

Automatic detection of the user's public transport context using bluetooth beacons and satellite positioning
Compilation of current and relevant public transport and traffic disruption info from multiple sources
Dynamic real-time display of arrival information including late and cancelled arrivals
Safety button when on a vehicle or at a station, showing the current travel info with one-tap calls to the relevant numbers
Feedback to HSL made easy: The new Feedback button opens HRT's feedback form at the correct spot. The line, vehicle number and stop code are provided for you to copy and paste into it.

Walking guidance: tap the compass symbol on a walking leg of your route to get guidance
Follow your journey: Click “Track” on any route plan and Whesuli follows your trip in real time. It shows how much time you have for each change and where to get off. If a change is about to fail, you’ll see the next departure and can request a new route that avoids the problem. On vehicles with a beacon, Whesuli also counts the stops left until yours. The screen stays on while you’re tracking, and you can return to the trip from the home screen.
