These Terms of Service ("Terms") apply to the use of the Whesuli mobile application for Android and iOS ("Application"). By downloading or using the Application you accept these Terms. If you do not accept them, do not use the Application.

Whesuli is a context-aware helper for users of public transport in the greater Helsinki region. It uses Bluetooth beacons and satellite positioning to detect nearby stops and vehicles, and shows timetable, real-time arrival, route, journey planning and disruption information.
The Application is a technology demonstration by Dinador Oy. It is free of charge, requires no user account, and contains no advertising or in-app purchases.
Whesuli is an independently developed application. It is not an official service of Helsinki Regional Transport (HSL / HRT), any transport operator or any public authority, and it has not been commissioned, funded or endorsed by them. Names such as HSL are used only to describe the data sources and services the Application relates to.
The Application does not sell tickets. Ticketing, fares, travel conditions and customer service of public transport are governed by the transport authority's and operators' own terms.
Timetables, real-time arrivals, routes, disruptions and other transport information come from third-party sources, mainly HSL's Digitransit services. Automatic stop and vehicle detection depends on beacons, device sensors and positioning, all of which may be unavailable or inaccurate.
Information shown in the Application may therefore be delayed, incomplete or incorrect. Always check official signage, announcements and HSL's own channels for important journeys. Dinador Oy is not responsible for missed connections, delays or other consequences arising from relying on information shown in the Application.
The safety button is an aid, not an emergency service.
In an emergency, call 112 directly. Do not rely solely on the Application for contacting emergency services or security personnel. The phone numbers, location and vehicle details shown in the safety view may be inaccurate, outdated or unavailable, and calls depend on your device and mobile network. The Application does not contact anyone automatically or share your location with emergency services on your behalf.
Walking guidance and journey plans are indicative only. Routes may cross roads, construction sites or otherwise unsuitable paths, and directions may be inaccurate. Always pay attention to your surroundings, follow traffic rules and use your own judgement. Do not look at the Application when doing so would be unsafe.

Transport data is provided by HSL through its Digitransit services under the Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 (CC BY 4.0) licence.
The Application may open external websites, such as pages of transport service providers. These websites are governed by their own terms and privacy policies, and Dinador Oy is not responsible for their content or availability.
The processing of data in the Application is described in the Whesuli privacy policy.
The Application, including its software, design, name and logo, is owned by Dinador Oy or its licensors. Dinador Oy grants you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to use the Application on devices you own or control, in accordance with these Terms and the rules of the application store from which you obtained it.
The Application is provided "as is" and "as available". Dinador Oy may change, suspend or discontinue the Application or any of its features at any time, with or without notice. The Application's functionality depends on third-party data and infrastructure that may change or become unavailable.
To the extent permitted by applicable law, Dinador Oy is not liable for any indirect or consequential damages, such as missed connections, lost time, additional travel costs or lost income, arising from the use of or inability to use the Application.
Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law, or your statutory rights as a consumer.
These Terms may be updated from time to time. The latest version is always available at this URL. Continued use of the Application after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.
These Terms are governed by the laws of Finland, without regard to its conflict of law rules.
Please contact us first at [email protected] so that we can try to resolve any issue. Consumers resident in Finland may also refer disputes to the Consumer Disputes Board (kuluttajariita.fi).
Disputes shall be settled in the Western Uusimaa District Court (Länsi-Uudenmaan käräjäoikeus) in Espoo, Finland, unless mandatory law provides otherwise.
If you obtained the Application from the Apple App Store, Apple's standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement also applies, and the following applies in addition: these Terms are between you and Dinador Oy, not Apple. Apple has no obligation to provide maintenance or support for the Application. Apple is not responsible for addressing any claims relating to the Application, including product liability, legal or regulatory compliance or intellectual property claims. Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these Terms and may enforce them against you.
